Our friends Kent and Jorge Hutchinson, whose Gay Parish sims are featured in the upcoming issue, have created a cool winter environment where we'll be launching the issue with the hot tunes of DJ Zach Kelberry. Come on by at 6pm SLT to kick off the holidays in a Blithe way. 

Though complications in Case and Merrick's RLs have conspired to delay the release of the December issue of Blithe, it will be worth the wait! We have a packed issue of stunning style, gorgeous places and the fascinating personalities behind many of our community's well-known names, all in a newly rebranded magazine with a fresh new appearance.

Pajama Party at Queue!

Get out your bunny slippers, it's time to dance til the buttons on your drop-seat jammies bust! Queue club at Hutchinson's Parish is having a pajama party to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Tuesday June 26, at 6pm SLT, drop by Queue club for some hot tunes from DJ Mirah and a chance at the Best in Jammies title. 

Barbarella's Sci-Fi Ball

A science fiction themed event takes over Q Club at Hutchinson's Parish on tonight at 6pm SLT, so channel your favourite campy character for a chance at the prize!

Prom Night at the Parish

Maybe you didn't go to your prom. Maybe you went with your favorite girl, coveting her dress the whole time. Maybe you're young enough that you got to go with your boyfriend. Whatever your experience, it's time to relive it and do it up right!

Q Club on the Quay is holding Prom Night on Tuesday May 1 at 6pm SLT. DJ Mirah spins and the contest board holds a prize of L$2000 for "best of the prom" so dress in your prom night finest! Prom King or Queen will be crowned!

Springtime at the Parish

After months of being extremely busy, I suddenly found myself with nothing to do last night. I stared at the almost finished issue of Blithe SL Magazine, wandered around kicking a few stones, and pestered a few friends with cries of "I'M BOOOOORRRED!" Finally, it dawned on me: I hadn't fully explored Menswear Fashion Week. Excited and ready to do my part to help the Second Life economy, I tped over and wandered the stores. Honestly, if you haven't been to Menswear Fashion Week yet, you need to go. It is full of the best designers for men.

I've been searching for new spring-wear as warmer weather approaches. It's been difficult to find as designers hold on to the winter styles, but at Menswear Fashion Week, I discovered what I'd been looking for.
